Agreement with London Stock Exchange Group to ease access to finance for high-growth businesses

Exciting new partnerships signed in Istanbul: The World Business Angels Investment Forum 2017, held 13–14 February in Istanbul, Turkey, marked the beginning of a new era for the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) and WBAF, thanks to partnerships that signed with the World Business Angels Investment Forum (WBAF).

WAIPA to co-operate with WBAF to connect early-stage equity markets globally

The MOU signed with WAIPA – World Association of Investment Promotion Agencies is aimed at supporting and empowering business angels and early and post-early stage investment markets around the world in co-operation with the World Business Angels Investment Forum (WBAF).

EBAN and WBAF will be working together to develop angel activities in the world

EBAN (The European Trade Association for Business Angels) and WBAF  will be working together in several respects, the main areas of cooperation being the following: Mutually supporting the development of angel activities in the world by collaborating on relevant projects, fostering cross-border investments among members.

ABAN signed MOU with WBAF to connect African start-ups with global markets

Exciting new partnership signed in Istanbul: The World Business Angels Investment Forum 2017 (WBAF 2017) and  the African Trade Association for Business Angels (ABAN), will be working together to connect African start-ups, SMEs, scale-ups and high-growth businesses with global markets.

As a global organisation, the World Business Angels Investment Forum 2017 brought together key players of the equity market to debate the benefits and challenges for the angel investment community in achieving successful growth for their businesses and to discuss what more could be done to connect the early-stage market ecosystem. The Forum gathered at the Swissotel The Bosphorus– Istanbul 12–14 February 2017 with the theme of ‘Partnering with Corporate Ventures from Start-up to Scale-up to Exit’. The London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) was the headline sponsor.
