Early stage investment market, issues & challenges in the region

The study found unfavorable investment culture and lack of information to be some of the most significant impediments for the early stage investment industry. Additionally, government involvement and developing effective intermediary institutions to support communication between the stakeholders involved in the industry were found to be equally significant. The findings are in line with the theoretical foundations observed in the literature review with regards to the institutional, stakeholder and organizational communication theories.The document provides insights into issues and challenges in the region. Contributors to the report include the South East Europe Research Council, the University of Sheffield, and HEBAN.
